Quality is Our Lifeline
After fourteen official years of operating Karen's Kitchen, we closed it on June 30, 2018.My heartfelt thanks to all of you who gave your love, support, and encouragement through the years!
It was an awesome privilege to have partaken in your special occasions with your loved ones through our cakes (and to some of my first customers, for your Christmas basket giveaways).
For those of you who were able to visit our Kapitolyo store, it was my joy to have you. There, I witnessed relationships restored, people honored, babies anticipated, time and life celebrated within our humble walls... while offering homecooking made with love.
Even though our doors have closed, sooner than later, Lord willing, I hope to share with you the Karen's Kitchen experience reborn as a book that I'm working on with recipes, encouragement from a journey of a non-baker, non-chef who became an entrepreneur. Who knew my next chapter would be on a book 🙂
Meanwhile, we are completing the closure. For those of you who expressed love for our decor or who are expanding your food business, we are selling furnishings and equipment beginning tomorrow and Mon-Sat 10am-7pm thereafter until July 20 at Karen's Kitchen Kapitolyo.
I'm just a text away!
With love and thanks,

DON'T TAKE OUR WORD FOR IT
“Four of us shared 5 diff cupcakes as appetizer and 3 more for dessert. We also shared a salad, the truffle and aligue pastas, salpicao and quinoadobo. Instead of eating our own orders we shared them all so we can have a taste of Karen's good food. They were all delicious, what can I say. But what made this place diff from others is that the owner, Karen, entertained us with songs from musicals which she sang superbly. I hope when we visit the place again we will get the same experience as our first visit!”

“My girlfriends and I had lunch there yesterday. It's the most gorgeously welcoming restaurant in Kapitolyo, with the most amazing food fare. We had 2 kinds of pasta and 2 kinds of crisp pizzas, sliders, scone (my friends even ordered some to go for their families), red velvet cakes and coffee. Everything was great. Karen was there, visiting every table. She's the most stunning, most gracious restaurateur. I'm definitely going back and bringing my family. We need more kitchens like Karen's!”
